Joshua’s Law
Joshua's Law was passed during the 2005 General Assembly. Beginning July 1, 2021, all drivers under 18 years old applying for a Class D driver's license must:
- Complete an approved 30-hour driver education course.
- Perform a total of 40 hours of supervised driving.
- Have a parent or guardian's sworn verification that these requirements have been met.
Joshua's Law Schedule: (30 Hours)
- June 9-12, 2025 (9am-5pm) Lunch Provided
- July 22-25, 2025 (9am-5pm) Lunch Provided
Any Georgia teen who needs to complete an approved driver's education course must be at least 18 to be eligible for a Class C driver's license. They must have completed at least 40 hours of supervised driving, including at least 6 hours at night. In addition, you must provide a notarized statement from a parent or guardian. Class C License
Enroll in our Driver's Education Course to be eligible for a Class C License at 18. You could also receive a reduction in your auto insurance; contact your agent for details.

What Is the Fee?
Starting May 1, 2025 the price is $300 for the 30 hour Joshua's Law class and $300 for the 6 hour behind-the-wheel lessons in one of our state certified vehicles.
Starting
May 1, 2025 the price for our Drivers Ed, 6 Hours BTW, & Driver's License Test will be $645.
Driving Simulator
We invite new drivers to come practice on our driving simulator. Practice road skills before getting out in traffic!
